Job Description:
We are seeking a General Services Specialist to join our team in Lakeland FL. This role involves a variety of responsibilities within the General Services department ensuring smooth operations and excellent service to staff. The ideal candidate will be proactive detail-oriented and able to work independently while maintaining professionalism in a visible position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain inventory and distribution of Personal Protection Equipment and other supplies.
- Ensure compliance with vehicle management and maintain state vehicles.
- Assist with facility moves furniture distribution and site inspections.
- Manage keycard systems and ensure safety compliance across locations.
- Participate in disaster management preparations as needed.
Required Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in supply and warehouse management.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use handcarts/dollies effectively.
- Familiarity with OSHA and safety regulations.
- Knowledge of Central Florida region and GPS navigation.
