Salary: $85000 to $95000 (depending on experience) super salary packaging

About the role
The Project Officer Journey to Motherhood works to support the uplift and expansion of high quality culturally safe maternity care across the Aboriginal Community Controlled (ACCO) sector. This includes a particular focus on Victorias Koori Maternity Strategy and on the development of ACCO-led initiatives to reduce the incidence of pre-term birth within Aboriginal Communities. The role also supports VACCHOs advocacy for the sustainability and expansion of ACCO-based Maternal and Child Health (MCH) sites across Victoria.
The role aims to enhance the sustainability effectiveness and quality of culturally safe primary healthcare services throughout the journey to motherhood.
Essential skills/experiences
To be successful in this role you will be a confident in your ability to work flexibly in a team environment where it can be all hands on deck to help your team achieve the desired outcomes. Bring your initiative and broad thinking ways to help achieve improved outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander mothers and babies in health care/hospital settings.
If you are a current experience Project Officer with a clinical background or are eager to make the transition from client facing roles to project work wed love to hear from you.
