Due Diligence Analyst Graduate Intake

Who We Are The Role & Why Anthesis:

• Conduct open-source due diligence research across multiple jurisdictions analysing a wide range of sources to identify potential compliance risks.
• Prepare clear and concise reports summarising findings related to corruption political exposure sanctions and other integrity concerns.
• Work on diverse cases shifting between different topics and geographiesfor example assessing a complex legal dispute in the US before analysing an offshore corporate structure in another jurisdiction.
• Progress over time into regionspecific research aligned with your language skills and regional expertise.
• Navigate complex crossborder risk landscapes and apply sound judgement when evaluating sources and information.
• Collaborate with senior staff on more complex projects as you develop.
• Build subjectmatter expertise in regional regulatory and compliance risks.
• Contribute to training new team members once fully onboarded.
• Support business development activities where needed.

• Training: We pride ourselves on producing market-leading work. To maintain these high standards we provide comprehensive one-to-one training. New analysts work closely with an experienced researcher over the first 4-6 months of their career to bring them up to speed and equip them with all the skills necessary to become an expert in due diligence and compliance. From then on all senior staff actively work with new joiners to ensure that they hit the ground running and continue to mentor analysts over the course of their career at Anthesis.

Key Requirements Skills Knowledge & Expertise

• Strong professional work ethic with a selfstarter attitude and a commitment to taking ownership of personal learning and development.
• Basic understanding of and interest in due diligence and compliance risks; experience within a commercial research environment is highly desirable.
• Fluent written and verbal English suitable for use in a commercial context.
• Excellent research and writing abilities including strong attention to detail and the capacity to identify interpret and summarise information from diverse sources under time pressure.
• Strong timemanagement skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluency in at least one foreign language. Languages of particular interest include Arabic Mandarin Portuguese Spanish German Italian Greek and French though applicants with other language skills are also encouraged to apply.
• Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited university.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
