Job Description:

We are seeking a Workday HCM Functional Analyst in supporting configuring and maintaining the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system including core HCM Absence Compensation Talent Acquisition and Talent Management modules as well as related reports. This role involves collaborating with internal teams external vendors and end-users to ensure the system meets business needs and provides a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Support & Troubleshooting: Provide day-to-day support to end-users identify system issues and ensure the smooth response to HCM requests. Triage all support tickets to determine which should be handled by HCM support which require systems changes and which should be routed to another team for management.

  • Business Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs analyze business processes and document requirements for system enhancements and changes.

  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans and cases to ensure the quality of system updates and new features.

  • Data Management Reporting & Analytics: Complete data uploads to support mass changes in the system. Build Workday reports dashboards and other analytical tools to provide insights into HR data. Create data audits to find data anomalies.

  • Documentation & Training: Maintain system documentation create user guides and provide training to end-users.

  • Security & Compliance: Ensure system security and compliance with data protection standards and other regulations.

  • Process Improvement: Identify process gaps and propose improvements to optimize Workday HCM. Measure timeliness and effectiveness of support ticket resolution and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Project Management: Support Workday-related projects including implementation upgrades and enhancements.

Skills & Experience:

  • Workday HCM Expertise: At least 3 years of experience with Workday HCM configuration reporting testing or troubleshooting. Strong understanding of Workday HCM functionalities including Core HCM Time & Absence Compensation Talent Acquisition and Talent Management. Strong understanding of business processes calculated fields and condition rules. Certification in Workday preferred.

  • Customer Focus Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong customer focus and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze requests identify root causes and propose solutions. Strong attention to detail and ability to ask the right questions to truly understand the problem and provide a solution that solves it.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to set clear expectations with stakeholders and escalate issues as needed. Experience with consulting or roles directly supporting internal or external clients preferred.

  • Prioritization and Urgency: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Judgement to know when to escalate something and the urgency to do so in a timely manner

  • HR Knowledge: Understanding of HR policies procedures and best practices. Prior experience Workday HR Technology in a large global organization.

  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Experience with developing and executing test plans and cases.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Knowledge of Workday reporting tools and data analysis techniques. Previous experience writing Workday HCM reports .

  • Confidentiality and High Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information and critical business operations with a high level of accuracy. Knowledge of SOX compliance and other data related regulations. Ability to handle sensitive data and ensure that it is appropriately managed. High integrity to deal with sensitive information appropriately.
