Job Title: System Administrator / IT Infrastructure Administrator
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and experienced System Administrator to manage and maintain our internal IT infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for handling networking servers security devices hardware systems and basic cloud infrastructure. This role ensures smooth IT operations and quick resolution of internal technical issues within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain internal office network infrastructure including switches routers and Wi-Fi.
- Monitor and maintain servers (Windows/Linux) to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Configure and manage network security devices such as firewalls and security appliances.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network hardware and system issues for internal users.
- Install configure and maintain desktop systems laptops printers and other IT hardware.
- Manage user accounts permissions and access control.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements where necessary.
- Assist with basic cloud infrastructure management (such as backups storage and virtual machines).
- Maintain IT documentation system configurations and network diagrams.
- Ensure data security system backups and disaster recovery procedures are properly implemented.
- Coordinate with vendors or service providers when needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 35 years of experience as a System Administrator or IT Support Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP DNS DHCP VPN).
- Experience with firewall and network security management.
- Experience managing Windows Server and/or Linux servers.
- Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and IT infrastructure setup.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS Azure or Google Cloud) is preferred.
- Familiarity with backup systems and monitoring tools.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware Hyper-V).
- Understanding of IT security best practices.
