In this role you will:
- Prepare year-to-date monthly business project and financial reports for one or more Planning Units identifying key messages and communicating them clearly to Planning Units heads.
- Manage projects of low to moderate complexity liaising closely with all relevant departments and adhering strictly to company E2E project management guidelines.
- Conduct less complex cost/benefit analyses to support sound business decisions.
- Identify analytical solutions in your area of business expertise and participate in preparing senior management presentations including for the IDB Investment Decision Board and Executive Steering Group.
- Prepare annual budgets and forecasts for one or more moderate to complex Planning Units identifying and communicating any issues that arise.
- Discover chances to improve internal processes and support business operations leading the implementation and communication of changes to division budget holders.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge and understanding of key business drivers and strategies for your area of expertise.
Requirements:
- A Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field.
- Proven ability to prepare and analyze financial reports and budgets.
- Strong project management skills and experience liaising with multiple departments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Advanced experience with financial software and tools including : Excel and SAP.
- Proven experience crafting high quality deliverables in Power Point and MS Word.
Preferred qualifications:
- An MBA or equivalent experience in Finance or a related field.
- Experience as a Finance Auditor.
- Familiarity with E2E project management guidelines.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully implement process improvements.
- Knowledge of key business drivers and strategy for finance-related roles.
