Our services span aged care disability community services chaplaincy and pastoral practice and we actively advocate for people experiencing are looking for a compassionate and thoughtful Pastoral Practitioner to join our Chaplaincy and Pastoral Practice team in the Sydney Central Metro this part-time role youll provide meaningful spiritual and pastoral care to residents clients families and staff supporting people from all backgrounds with empathy respect and be part of the Mission Directorate working alongside a committed team dedicated to strengthening communities nurturing connection and ensuring people feel seen heard and supported in moments that the RoleAs a Pastoral Practitioner you will provide person-centred pastoral and spiritual care while contributing to a collaborative and supportive Mission this role you will:Provide pastoral and spiritual care to residents clients families and staff respecting diverse faiths beliefs and cultural backgroundsOffer religious care within the Christian faith tradition that is ecumenical and inclusiveBuild nurturing relationships with people in your care and support them through times of vulnerability reflection and changeMaintain clear and appropriate documentation and reporting within Uniting systemsWork collaboratively with service delivery teams to ensure holistic care for those we serveSupport and guide pastoral care volunteers to contribute safely and effectivelyParticipate in supervision reflective practice and ongoing professional and spiritual developmentContribute positively to the Chaplaincy and Pastoral Practice team and the broader Mission DirectorateYoull report to the Hub Chaplain and work closely with staff volunteers and service delivery teams across YouYou are a compassionate listener who values human dignity and connection.
