Whats the role
Youll step into a hands on role that helps protect the integrity of the Westpac Group by spotting assessing and managing personal conflicts of interest.
Youll own the endtoend management of personal conflicts including personal trading external business interests and directorships close personal relationships and gifts and hospitality. Working closely across all three lines of defence youll investigate complex matters monitor ongoing compliance and provide clear practical recommendations that support confident and compliant deliver outcomes safely by applying sound judgement and strong investigation discipline make an impact by shaping insider trading and conflicts risk outcomes and own your work endtoend through accurate records datadriven insights and clear reporting to senior stakeholders.
This is a full time hybrid role based in Sydney or Warrane Gadigal Country.
What do I need
Experience supporting conflict of interest risk or compliance activities within regulated environments
Strong analytical and investigative skills
Confidence working with legal regulatory and policy requirements relating to conflicts of interest and insider trading
High attention to detail and comfort managing data and reporting
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels
