As a Payment Lifecycle Specialist IV within the Payments Investigations Function you will oversee daily operations to ensure business targets are achieved. You will supervise staff during shifts ensuring work items meet agreed SLAs and exceptions are resolved promptly. Your role includes tracking procedural changes preparing MIS reports and identifying process improvement opportunities. You will assess team training needs and collaborate with associates to deliver necessary training. Building strong relationships with partner sites and stakeholders is essential as is having experience in international payment processing operations. A background in back-office operations at a reputable bank and knowledge of ISO SWIFT and international payment practices are advantageous. Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English are required along with a proactive approach to problem-solving and issue escalation. You will partner with stakeholders like Operations Controls and Training to meet organizational objectives. Additionally you will strategize solutions to business challenges focusing on client needs with strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office and data analytics tools.
Job Responsibilities:
Required qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Graduate with Minimum4 years Financial Operations Processing experience with a good team management experience in similar environment.
- Good Interpersonal skills to be able to communicate internally & externally and at all levels. Excellent written & oral communication skills in English with good people management skills.
- A proactive approach to problem solving taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow through. Escalate issues as appropriate.
- Experience of working / partnering with stakeholders like Operations Controls Training etc. to ensure that the overall organizational objectives are met.
- Ability to use creative problem solving techniques to solve business issues and focus on client focus with good analytical skills and knowledge of MS Office applications and other data analytics tool.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Working Knowledge of ISO SWIFT & international payment conventions & practices would be required or Prior Experience in Client and Third party banks investigations for Multicurrency payments will be an added advantage
- Experience and a working knowledge of various aspects of International Payment Processing Operations. 4 years of experience in a back office operations of a reputed foreign bank or its processing arm/private sector bank/public sector bank as a supervisor would be beneficial.
