DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated volunteer to join our Spiritual Care Team at Marie Curie Hospice in Newcastle Upon Tyne offering pastoral spiritual and/or religious support to patients their families their family members or friends during lifes most challenging moments.
Availability: Weekday mornings/afternoons or occasional weekends or evenings
Time: Flexible to suit your schedule
Location: Marie Curie Hospice Marie Curie Drive Newcastle Upon Tyne NE4 6SS
Criteria: Minimum 18 years of age. A Criminal Record Check is required for this opportunity - Marie Curie will cover the cost of this.
What youll be part of:
- Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients families and occasionally staff.
- Respect and honor individual beliefs cultures and backgrounds.
- Attend team meetings as needed.
- Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
- Assist with other related tasks when necessary.
