- Responsible for the proper execution of the logistics operation coordinating worldwide shipments from the purchase of coffee from suppliers through the release of the coffee to the final customer ensuring compliance with the agreed execution timelines.
- Conduct weekly reviews through the analysis of the Open Shipment Report to monitor shipment status and timely detect the entry of new contracts enabling shipment instructions to be issued as quickly as possible while maintaining control of ETA dates and potential delivery issues or consequences.
- Schedule and update system information daily and in real time (company-wide data collection) ensuring data reliability integrity and accuracy.
- Responsible for planning the start of shipments obtaining service contracts from the Freight Desk or the customer coordinating required destination instructions and ultimately issuing shipping instructions to shippers in accordance with the Open Position Report.
- Coordinate the logistics chain at destination (USA and Canada): receipt and review of customs documents (Bill of Lading Commercial Invoice and Delivery Order) followed by issuing handling instructions to customs brokers shipping lines carriers warehouses and customers to ensure on-time deliveries without additional costs.
- Responsible for analyzing and interpreting data and providing information throughout the logistics chain resolving issues in a timely and high-quality manner while ensuring assertive and effective communication with all logistics counterparts and suppliers involved in the operation.
- Work under the direction and guidance of the Execution Supervisor while providing support to projects led by the Logistics Manager Head of Execution and the global platform.
- Manage third-party shipments imports re-exports and any other movements related to assigned customers or logistics flows.
