We are looking for a Senior Show Operations Manager Finovate Fintech Americas and Fintech Futures to join our team in New York as part of our Operations function.
The Senior Show Operations Manager role will sit within the Fintech Operations Team to manage the efficient and creative operational delivery of the FinTech verticals brands including Finovate Fintech Americas and Fintech Futures. The ideal candidate will be a strong operational lead driving the critical path and ensuring strong relationship and team management throughout the show cycle. This role is pivotal not only in the preparation phase but also during the on-site delivery of the event ensuring seamless execution and client satisfaction. The role requires a balance of strategic focus and hands-on involvement in operational delivery. The preferred applicant will demonstrate strong experience in executing tasks while driving overall direction and leadership to achieve business objectives.
In addition to key responsibilities on the above brands as the Senior Show Operations Manager you will play a crucial supporting role across all Fintech vertical events globally. This position will require flexibility and a willingness to travel throughout the year toassistwith the operational needs of other shows ensuring consistency in delivery andmaintainingthehigh standardsexpected across all FinTech events
Key accountabilities
- Lead the operational delivery of Finovate FinTech Americas and FinTech Futures events by devising and managing end-to-end operational plans ensuring resource efficiency and fulfilment of event strategy and commercial contracts.
- Ensure seamless planning build-up open days and breakdown of the event in collaboration with the wider operations team procurement and event suppliers.
- Formulate and control the operational budgets and inventory in partnership with the VP of Show Operations the Show SVP and the finance team.
- Oversee the show floorplan management ensuring navigation density and venue compliance while maintaining effective control and monitoring of health and safety standards.
- Be a strategic partner to key stakeholders including the Show SVP sales creative content and marketing teams to develop and deliver commercial inventory achieve business targets ensure high customer service and flawlessly meet onsite requirements.
- Work in partnership with the procurement team to secure suppliers for full event requirements ensuring strong relationships are developed and maintained.
- Ensure clear understanding of the content strategy for each event ensuring the content operations lead has the processes and resources in place for successful delivery of this
- Responsible for the seamless and innovative execution of sponsorship operations delivering exceptional white-glove service to clients while adapting to solutions that align with business objectives and client expectations to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Oversee the development and deliverables of the operations team for Finovate FinTech Americas and Fintech Futures fostering growth and performance.
- Lead the implementation of strategic initiatives such as sustainability and process improvement in collaboration with the VP of Show Operations to develop and apply best practices within this operations team

- onsite delivery able to travel including but not limited to Singapore Thailand The Netherlands the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
Qualifications :
- 5 years proven large-scale international event experience at operations manager level essential.
- Able to take an innovative customer-centric and global approach to all aspects of the role strategy planning and operational execution.
- Strong planning prioritisation and implementation skills with a focus on detail.
- Able to think creatively and come up with bespoke ideas.
- Negotiation and financial/budget management skills.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating and maintaining positive and productive relationships with diverse business partners in a highly matrixed organisation.
- A self starter who is able to work independently and under pressure while consistently exercising sound judgement even when faced with ambiguity.
- Office attendance is essential. Current pattern is 3 days a week subject to change.
- As this role supports shows across different time zones alternative work hours will be required as necessary
- Professional Fluency in Spanish
