Summary As a Manager in Training at Jersey Mikes you will be instrumental in learning the operations of our fast-paced environment while preparing for a management role. This position is vital to our mission of delivering high-quality subs and exceptional service while fostering community relationships. Responsibilities - Assist in managing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality service.
- Train and develop team members in food handling customer service and operational procedures.
- Oversee food safety and sanitation practices in compliance with health regulations.
- Support inventory control processes to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Help create a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
- Monitor sales performance and assist in implementing strategies to achieve targets.
- Engage with customers to enhance their dining experience and address any concerns.
- Participate in community outreach initiatives to strengthen local relationships.
Qualifications - Previous experience in food service or restaurant management is preferred.
- Strong staff training capabilities with a focus on development and mentorship.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations.
- Excellent supervisory skills to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and culinary practices is beneficial.
- Experience with POS system is a plus but not required.
- Ability to manage inventory control processes efficiently.
- A passion for providing exceptional customer service and community involvement.
