SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director of Athletics and serving as a member of the athletics departments leadership team the Assistant Director of Student-Athlete Services is responsible for directing all student-athlete services functions including but not limited to CAPS management NIL student-athlete onboarding processes and student-athlete development initiatives.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages and maintains CAPS database and ensures accurate roster management information with real-time monitoring and timely updates of roster changes.
Leads the universitys name image and likeness program. Develops and administers policies in conformance with federal state NCAA and conference guidelines. Creates and maintains NIL disclosure mechanisms for student-athletes.
Serves as liaison and provides on-campus support to the universitys third-party athletics compliance vendor.
Supports the eligibility certification process for new and continuing student-athletes.
Assists student-athletes and head coaches with university admissions procedures.
Supports APR and GSR reporting processes in collaboration with academic support and registrars office.
Ensures implementation of programming education and initiatives necessary to satisfy NCAA membership attestation requirements.
Provides support to Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) with student-athlete development initiatives and liaison with campus partners on engagement opportunities.
Serves as athletics department liaison to multiple campus constituents.
Serves as a member of the athletics departments leadership team providing strategic direction and support to department operations and policy development.
Serves as sport administrator for designated sports as determined by the Athletics Director.
Represents university and athletics department at institutional conference and NCAA meetings as requested.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience / Knowledge / Skills: Minimum 2 years experience in student-athlete-facing work experience at an NCAA Division I institution. Advanced knowledge of the Teamworks platform. Applied knowledge of NCAA Division I rules and regulations.
Ability to: Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

PREFERRED EDUCATION / SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE:
Former NCAA Division I student-athlete with experience in student-athlete development.
SUPERVISION OF OTHERS:
Graduate assistants and student workers.
