Job Summary

As a Software Tester you will help in leading the testing efforts of our software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to execute test cases and ensure the overall quality of our applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manual and automated testing methodologies and a deep understanding of testing best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Help lead the execution of manual test cases for functional UI/UX API regression and compatibility testing.
Proactively participate in the Sprint Planning Backlog Refinement Review and Retrospective to ensure your alignment to the team goal.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans test cases and test scripts to ensure product quality.
Develop and maintain testing best practices and processes.
Automate tests wherever possible to increase efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.
Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements identify test scenarios and prioritize testing efforts.
Report and track defects using bug tracking tools and assist with debugging and troubleshooting issues.
Work closely with developers product owners and other stakeholders to identify and resolve defects.

Skills Knowledge & Expertise

General

With at least 2 to 4 years of experience in the field of software testing for both manual and automated.
Good written and communication English (minimum B2)
Advanced knowledge of software testing principles methodologies and practices
Excellent understanding of agile/scrum development processes
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Advanced Knowledge in API testing functional testing UI/UX testing cross-browser testing regression testing and web accessibility testing.
Advanced Knowledge in Test Management Tools like JIRA X-ray or equivalent.

Technologies

Advanced knowledge of different types of testing including integration testing and performance testing.
Advanced knowledge of Postman JMeter or other testing tools
Advanced knowledge of test management tools such as Azure DevOps Jira or similar tools
Good knowledge of SQL databases and queries
Good knowledge of 1 programming language (preferably Python)
Good knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks (Selenium/Robot Framework/Cypress)
Good knowledge of Git versioning control systems
Good knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
Basic knowledge of NoSQL database technologies such as MongoDB DynamoDB or CosmosDB.
