Job Summary

Job Description

The Mechanical Designer is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings using computer-aided design software.

Job Responsibilities
Creating detailed technical drawings for buildings structures and other construction projects
Ensuring all drawings are accurate and up-to-date
Collaborating with engineers architects and other professionals to ensure designs meet specifications and requirements
Developing design plans that meet project requirements and specifications
Developing 3D models to aid in design visualization
Making revisions to designs as needed
Reviewing and editing technical drawings for accuracy and completeness
Ensuring all drawings comply with project requirements and specifications
Assisting engineers and architects with design changes and modifications
Maintaining project documentation including drawings models and specifications
Producing project reports and progress updates
Ensuring all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date

Requirements
Associate or bachelors degree in CAD or related field
5 years of experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Requires a bachelors degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
