Our Ruby Dora with her 181 rooms is set in the legendary Corvin Palace on one of Budapests grand boulevards right between Keleti station and the historic old town. From the glamour of the roaring 1920s to todays buzzing café and bar culture Budapest has always known how to keep the good times rolling. Inspired by the buildings history and by Hungarian sculptor Szigfrid Pongráczs four sculptures of Pandora crowning the palace a symbol that even after turbulent times hope always finds its way back into the world we created a space that reflects the citys enduring spirit and love for lively gatherings. With the Danube the historic centre and countless cafés just a short stroll away Ruby Dora places you right where Budapest comes alive.

Trust us you wont get bored as you:

take care of small repairs touch-ups and maintenance tasks from dripping taps to squeaky doors
keep an eye on all technical systems and make sure everything runs smoothly
coordinate external service providers and keep the strings in your hands when it comes to facility management
roll up your sleeves for painting and sealing work throughout the hotel
work hand in hand with our Corporate Office in Munich and stay closely aligned with the housekeeping team
monitor regular maintenance and safety checks always in coordination with our Maintenance Manager
order the materials you need for your work in consultation with the Hotel Manager

Weve been waiting for you since you have/are:

a true all-rounder with solid technical skills and craftsmanship. A completed apprenticeship in HVAC plumbing or electrical work is a plus but for us your hands-on experience and versatile skills matter even more
gained several years of professional experience in a similar role
the ability to manage external service providers efficiently while staying on top of things
skilled with your hands whether its painting electrical or plumbing you jump in everywhere find solutions think ahead and keep things running
confident positive and have a good sense of humor because fun is simply part of the job with us
flexible enough to occasionally cover a weekend or evening shift
fluent in Hungarian; English skills are a plus to make teamwork and communication with international guests smooth
