At CGI we are looking for a ETL Developer to work on an international project.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in systems engineering software engineering or related fields.
- 4 - 6 years of demonstrated experience in Data Quality Data Transformation and Data processing
- Conversational English (B2 or higher).
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in Microsoft SSIS and related tools like Visual Studio SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) SSMS Scheduling agents (SQL Server Agent/Autosys) Source Control (Git/Azure DevOps) and MS Powershell scripting)
- Solid understanding of MS SQL Server (experience with other standard RDBMS may be acceptable provided strong foundation is available)
- Strong hands-on experience in implementing and optimizing ETL pipelines
- Interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and implement ETL processes for efficient data extraction transformation and loading.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data integrity.
- Analyze and troubleshoot integration-related issues providing technical support and ensuring timely incident resolution
- Perform extensive testing to ensure integrations function correctly and error-free before deployment to production.
- Ensure all integrations comply with applicable security standards and regulations protecting sensitive and confidential data.
Nice to Have:
- Banking background
- Experience using Python
- Azure Data Factory including but not limited to Ingest Dataflow Monitoring Machine Learning services Database services and Storage services.
