Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain high-performance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices for scalable systems.

Work with SQL databases to design schemas write optimized queries and manage data efficiently.

Develop and manage large-scale data processing pipelines using Apache Spark.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers data engineers and frontend developers.

Write clean maintainable and well-documented code following best practices.

Troubleshoot and resolve application performance issues and bugs.

Participate in code reviews architecture discussions and technical decision-making.

Ensure applications meet security scalability and reliability standards.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot.

Proficiency in SQL and database design.

Experience with Apache Spark for data processing.

Working knowledge of Python or JavaScript.

Experience building REST APIs and microservices architecture.

Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.

Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP).

Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Exposure to big data ecosystems is a plus.
