We are seeking a skilled Controls Specialist (PLC Programming) for one of our automotive manufacturing clients in the Hamilton region.
Pay - 60K-80K
Responsibilities:

Program modify and troubleshoot PLC-controlled automation systems used in automotive manufacturing.

Work with PLC platforms such as Allen Bradley Siemens or similar systems.
-
Diagnose and resolve issues related to robotics sensors drives and automated production equipment.
-
Support installation commissioning and testing of new automation equipment.
-
Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades on control systems.
-
Work closely with maintenance engineering and production teams to minimize downtime.
-
Review electrical drawings control schematics and system documentation.
-
Assist with HMI programming and troubleshooting when required.
-
Ensure all automation systems follow company safety and quality standards.
Requirements:

Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering Automation Mechatronics or related field.

Strong experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
-
Experience working with automated assembly lines or robotic systems in the automotive industry.

Knowledge of HMI VFDs sensors and industrial networks.
-
Ability to read electrical schematics and ladder logic diagrams.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
