Job Summary Respiratory Therapist

- Provide respiratory care to adult patients across all hospital units (ICU ED Progressive Care).
- Care for average of 225 patients/day in a 207-bed non-teaching hospital with Chest Pain and Stroke Center certifications.
- Required to float to multiple facilities within the assigned region as needed including possible mid-shift floating (paid for travel time).
- Must possess and maintain active NC Licensure RRT or CRT credentials and certifications in BLS ACLS PALS and NRP (Resource Team).
- Utilize EPIC EMR and operate department-specific equipment (Servo Nitric Oxide Volara Airvo 2).
- Work under departmental leadership with a supportive small family team culture.
- Participate in a 2-day departmental orientation plus NEO (New Employee Orientation).
- Work every other weekend; no on-call required.
- Expected to work 75% of holidays; up to 6 days off can be approved (excluding holidays).
- Schedule follows a 6-week cycle.
- Scrub color is Royal Blue; free parking provided.
- Open to first-time travelers; must have at least 2 years of experience.
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility per traveler radius rule.
