Job Summary

We have partnered with a manufacturer of aluminum castings in the Clifton NJ area to provide them with a Machine Operator. Please review the description below and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Machine Operator:

#1. High School Diploma or GED required. Technical certificate or vocational training in machining or manufacturing technology preferred.

#2. 2 years of CNC machine operation experience operating CNC mills CNC lathes or machining centers in a manufacturing environment.

#3. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings or blueprints and follow machining specifications.

#4. Hands on experience performing machine setup tool changes and production adjustments on CNC equipment.

#5. Manufacturing experience in one of the following industries

Aerospace Manufacturing
Metal Manufacturing
Precision Machining
CNC Machining
Investment Casting
Automotive Manufacturing
Defense Manufacturing
Industrial Manufacturing
High Precision Component Manufacturing
Advanced Manufacturing

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating CNC mills and lathes to machine aluminum components in accordance with production schedules and quality standards.

This role involves machine setup monitoring machining processes performing tool changes and verifying that finished components meet engineering specifications. The Machine Operator works closely with production engineering and quality teams to maintain efficient operations and ensure product quality.

Success in this role requires mechanical aptitude attention to detail and the ability to operate machining equipment safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
