Job Summary

Engineering firm looking to add Architect/Project Manager with Commercial/Industrial experience to their team!

Responsibilities:

Outline project approach and assist with developing fees for project proposals
Lead programming efforts with a focus on customer service
Lead architecture design while working with internal design teams to develop innovative/functional designs
Mentor/train junior staff
Identify potential risks and look for alternative strategies to mitigate them
Ensure projects comply with local building codes and zoning regulations
Incorporate best practices
Handle construction administration contractor questions and RFI responses
Develop construction documents/specifications for commercial projects (industrial warehouse data center or distribution center projects)
Work directly with the client providing timely updates on project status and discussing project scope
Coordinate with internal teams including project planning scheduling and tracking

Requirements:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture
8 years of commercial architecture
Knowledgeable in code/materials and methods commonly used in the industrial manufacturing and distribution center projects
Experience with specification writing
Construction administration experience
Valid Drivers License is required

Salary is commensurate with experience.
