Description

As aSr IT EngineeratHoneywell you will play a pivotal role in designing implementing and supporting enduser technology solutions that enable productivity security and a high-quality employee experience across the enterprise. This role is a key contributor to the Aero Separation Project and will focus on modern workplace technologies device management and executive-level support.

You will report directly to our Sr. Director IT and youll work out of our Mississauga ON location.

In this role you will directly impact user satisfaction system reliability and operational efficiency by delivering scalable secure and user-centric IT services across corporate environments.



Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design implement and supportEnd User Computing (EUC)solutions across Windows macOS and virtual desktop environments.
  • Administer and supportMicrosoft Intunefor device enrollment configuration compliance patching and security policy enforcement.
  • Manage and supportMicrosoft 365services including endpoint integration with productivity collaboration and identity platforms.
  • LeverageNexthink(or similar digital experience monitoring tools) to proactively identify analyze and remediate end-user performance and experience issues.
  • SupportVirtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)platforms ensuring performance availability and user adoption.
  • Provide advanced support formacOS (Macintosh)environments alongside Windows-based systems.
  • OverseePC lifecycle management including hardware standards procurement coordination imaging deployment refresh and secure decommissioning.
  • Manage and supportHP Print Services includingPrint Manager print queues drivers and enterprise printing solutions.
  • DeliverMobility Device Management (MDM)support for laptops mobile devices and peripherals in compliance with corporate security standards.
  • ProvideExecutive Care / VIP support delivering white-glove high-touch IT services to senior leaders and critical stakeholders.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure optimal functionality and minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT security and business teams to integrate new technologies and improve existing services.
  • Maintain documentation standards and procedures to support operational excellence and audit readiness.



Qualifications

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP security clearance.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science technology engineering mathematics
  • More than 5years of experiencein IT engineering End User Computing or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience withEnd User Computing (EUC)environments in an enterprise setting.
  • Proven expertise withMicrosoft Intuneandmodern device management.
  • Experience supportingMicrosoft 365services in a corporate environment.
  • Hands-on experience withVDI platforms(Citrix VMware AVD or similar).
  • Experience supportingmacOS (Macintosh)and Windows endpoints.
  • Familiarity withNexthinkor other endpoint experience/monitoring tools.
  • Experience managingPC lifecycle managementfrom deployment through retirement.
  • Working knowledge ofenterprise print services includingHP Print Services and Print Manager.
  • Experience supportingmobility and MDM solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware software and user experience issues.
  • Knowledge of endpoint security compliance and IT best practices.

The annual base salary for this position starts at $85200. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the candidates work experience education and training key skills as well as market and business considerations.
