SSI is seeking a highly motivated and experienced SETA Acquisition Lead to support critical SCO space this role you will work directly with the Program Manager (PM) to provide essential guidance and support throughout the SCO space acquisition lifecycle ensuring the successful execution of high-priority space programs.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Acquisition & Documentation:Lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive acquisition documentation including streamlined acquisition strategies contract documentation Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) Determinations and Findings (D&F) Justification and Approval (J&A) Performance Work Statements (PWS) and Statements of Work or Objectives (SOW/SOO).
- Contract Oversight:Proactively engage with the acquisition mission partner and contractor during contract execution. Continuously update the SCO PM on contract opportunities risks and performance metrics (cost schedule and technical performance).
- Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare materials for internal program reviews (e.g. S-PRs) and develop briefings for external stakeholders including staffer slides and presentations for the Department of War (DoW) and Service senior leadership.
- Strategic Collaboration:Collaborate closely with the Government team to set the pace and drive the team toward achieving the Program Managers vision. Actively support fellow teammates identify roadblocks and challenges and help the team find solutions to move the program forward.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 years of experience and 5 years of experience specifically supporting USSF/SSC NRO DIA or similar.
Bachelors degree in a STEM or Business field; DAWIA or FAC-C Level III certification in Program Management or Contracting is highly preferred.
Comprehensive knowledge of the federal procurement process and the JCIDS (Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System)
- Proven background in space system acquisition
Expert-level command of Microsoft Office 365 (Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook) for briefing development and data management.
TS/SCI clearance required.
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior experience in prototype development or an applied laboratory setting.
