Urgent Care Veterinarian Gastonia NC
An urgent care veterinary clinic is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its collaborative medical team. This role focuses exclusively on urgent care cases for canine and feline patients providing treatment for non-life-threatening conditions that occur outside regular veterinary clinic hours.
Key Responsibilities
Provide medical care for urgent but non-critical cases including injuries illnesses and other time-sensitive conditions
Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver efficient and compassionate care
Communicate effectively with clients ensuring understanding of treatment options and care plans
Maintain accurate medical records using digital systems
Support and contribute to a positive team-oriented clinic culture
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) from an accredited program
Active or eligible veterinary license in the state of North Carolina
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work efficiently in an urgent care setting
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
