Food Runner JOEY Dallas

The Food Runner plays a vital role in ensuring excellent guest service by delivering food orders from the kitchen to the members of our serving staff accurately and with Genuine Warmth and Care. Working closely with kitchen and service staff the Food Runner helps maintain a smooth workflow between front and back-of-house operations.

Duties

• Promptly deliver food orders from the kitchen/expo line to service staff in the upstairs dining area.
• Navigate through the restaurant while carrying dishware and glassware safely and efficiently; may include use of trays.
• Follow all foodservice safety precautions and procedures.

Basic Qualifications

• No experience necessary.
• Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler permits.
• Possess a passion for hospitality a professional demeanor and an ability to work well in a team setting.
• Thrive in adynamicfast-paced work environment.
• Be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time; frequent bending reaching and stretching; repetitive manual tasks; lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to climb and descend threeflights of stairs (approximately 30 stairs) frequently and consistently throughout the shift (approximately 8 hours per day).
