Wealth Management Private Wealth Legal Internship

Job Description
An internship with Simmons Banks Private Wealth Departmentprovidesa current law schoolstudentan opportunity to receive work experience to complement their course work. The work will be related to a professional interest in personal trust administration. A Simmons Sidekick will guide the intern and offer day to day advice on how to navigate the business or solve challenging problems. Simmons Bank willbenefitfrom the internship as real work or valuable projects are completedduring the course ofthe internship.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Simmons Banks Private Wealth Internship Program (Program) provides current law students with the ability to gain insight in the field of personal trust administration. Interns will delve into areas of technical application encompassing property law tax law trust instruments fiduciary law regulations estate planning and wealth management principles. Participants will support the Private Wealth Department on a wide range of projects.
Expected responsibilities include:
trust and estate review
regulatory reviews
organizing client engagement
assistingwith the review of policies and procedures and
assistingwith various department projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Pursuing a law degree at an accredited law school.
Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills.
Outstanding time management and project management skills.
Microsoft Office skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Positive attitude fast learner and team player.
An interest in workinginPrivate Wealth at Simmons Bank.
