About the Role:

We are looking for dedicated Support Worker with experience in Mental Health to join our High Physical Support SDA team with a specialization in high-care environments. The ideal candidates will have a genuine passion for assisting individuals with high-care needs and will play a crucial role in providing personalized care to our participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing person-centred support in high physical support SDA settings.
  • Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care meal preparation medication management and household tasks.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive environment that promotes independence and dignity.
  • Collaborating with clients families and support professionals to implement personalized support plans.
  • Monitoring and reporting on client progress and needs.

Essential Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support Disability or related field.
  • Experience or a background in mental health.
  • Valid Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
  • Experience in Mental Health is essential.
  • Passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities in a professional capacity.

To be Successful You Should Possess:

  • Experience in Mental Health
  • Experience in SDA environments and with clients requiring high-care support.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop meaningful relationships with clients and families.
  • Positive and empathetic attitude adaptable to individual needs.
  • Experience in mental health support is desirable.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings.
