Provides support and performs duties as assigned to assist the Pathologists Pathology supervisor transcriptionists and histotechnicians; processes tissue specimens received into the Pathology department and maintains Pathology equipment and instrumentation.Position Details:
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor of Science including at least sixty semester hours of biology or related field.
Experience: One year working in anatomic pathology laboratory.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: B.S. in Laboratory sciences or medical technology.
Experience: Previous experience in a clinical laboratory.
Certification: ASCP - American Society of Clinical Pathologist ASCP-PA / AAPA Pathologist Assistant certification.
