Join one of the UKs fastest-growing startups as a Staff Software Engineer to build the Duolingo for anything. Reporting directly to the CEO you will own major product areas end-to-end shipping daily to over 1.5 million users. Youll drive technical direction while crafting delightful gamified experiences that help one billion people master new skills.

What you will do:

• Own the technical design and implementation of user-facing features using React TypeScript and Tailwind.

• Iterate rapidly by merging to production and refining features based on daily session replays and metrics.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with design and product teams to translate complex Figma designs into high-quality code.

The ideal candidate:

• 8 years of engineering experience with deep frontend expertise and full-stack proficiency in PostgreSQL and APIs.

• Proven track record in fast-paced startup environments ideally as a former founder or early-stage employee.

• Strong academic background in a quantitative field like Computer Science Mathematics or Physics from a top-tier university.
