Accounting & Office Support Specialist Middlebury IN
This opening at our clients office is available due to relocation creating the advantage of training directly with the outgoing team member before their departure. This is a full-time in-office position working Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm.
This role offers a variety of responsibilities within a small office environment where teamwork and flexibility are valued. The position is intended to be filled on a temp-to-hire basis with starting pay determined by the client based on the experience level of the candidate selected.
Job Duties:
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Handling employee expense reports
- Working closely with the companys sales coordinator
- Answering and directing incoming phone calls
- Providing administrative support as needed
- Learning and assisting with HR and benefits-related tasks
- Supporting daily office operations in a team-oriented environment
Its a match for someone who has prior exposure to accounting functions enjoys working in a smaller office setting and is willing to step in wherever needed. Candidates with experience using Sage software will be strongly considered. This opportunity offers hands-on training variety in daily responsibilities and the potential to transition into a permanent role with excellent benefits.
Requirements:
- Previous accounts payable and/or accounts receivable experience preferred
- Experience with Sage software strongly preferred
- Familiarity with expense reporting processes
- Basic HR or benefits exposure a plus
- Strong computer proficiency
- Ability to work independently in a small office setting
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to assist in multiple areas
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus
- Ability to understand and communicate (talk-read-hear) work instructions
