Team Mission
Be the force multiplier that amplifies tech leadership impact across OakNorth. Youll work directly with the CTO and senior engineering leaders gaining unique visibility into strategic decisions while building critical operational and technical skills. This role is for someone who wants to learn fast make tangible impact from day one and develop the judgment and execution capability that defines great technical leaders. Youll remove friction drive clarity and create the space for the team to do their best workturning chaos into capability.
The Role
- Run cohort onboarding programmes including scheduling materials checklists and follow ups
- Coordinate vendors and manage light vendor relationships and delivery trackers
- Gather reconcile and maintain reporting inputs linked to senior manager responsibilities and risk logs
- Perform research and produce concise briefings that support technical and regulatory decisions
- Own meeting administration for tech leadership: agendas notes actions and escalation tracking
- Maintain and improve the Tech Ops knowledge base runbooks and standard templates
- Support sandbox and environment provisioning requests and basic CI/CD deployment coordination where appropriate
- Assist with data collection and dashboards that surface delivery health risks and blockers
- Drive small continuous improvement initiatives that remove common friction points
What Were Looking For
- Graduate or early-career technologist with strong organisation and communication skills
- Comfortable reading technical documentation and translating it into clear summaries for senior stakeholders
- Able to work independently follow up relentlessly and manage multiple small workstreams
- Curious pragmatic and outcomes focused with a bias to reduce senior cognitive load
Core capabilities
- Strong written communication and ability to synthesize complex information into clear actionable summaries
