Senior Analyst, Investor Relations

Toasts Investor Relations team is a lean fast-paced high-leverage and high-performance team responsible for crafting an effective communication program between the company and investors. The team is looking for a Sr Analyst to support our investor relations strategy and analytics deep this role the person will report to the Vice President of Investor Relations Treasury & ESG and will work closely with various teams across the organization including finance analytics legal marketing and competitive intelligence teams.

A day in the life (Responsibilities)

• Build & maintain industry and company-specific research and benchmarking
• Analyze the industries within which Toast operates and serve as an internal expert on those industries & companies
• Partner closely with finance accounting and legal on quarterly earnings deliverables
• Partner closely with finance and business partners to perform relative analyses on business results and trends
• Own all aspects of investor interaction strategy including shareholder analyses and meeting allocations
• Own day-to-day tasks including logging asks and interactions with the investment community managing the Investor Relations calendar and website and coordinating with IR vendors

What Youll Need To Thrive (Requirements):

• Bachelors Degree in Business Accounting Finance or Economics preferred
• 4 years of experience in sell side research or investment banking; experience in either Software or Payments industries preferred
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with innate curiosity to go deep on topics and the highest standards for accuracy and precision
• Financial literacy and understanding of public-company materials and quarterly reporting cadence
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling and valuation concepts
• Excellent exec-level communication (verbal and written)
• Advanced use of AI tools on a daily basis such as managing a prompt library automating multi-step workflows experimenting with agentic workflows from multiple vendors
• Comfortability working under pressure in a dynamic environment; able to adhere to strict deadlines and manage shifting priorities
• Knowledge of and comfortability with Google Suite tools including Google Drive Slides Sheets and Docs
