    SALARY
    $125 per day for a licensed teacher for the first 15 days and then adjusted to teacher rate of pay retro on the 16th will be commensurate with the level of education and experience of the recommended candidate.
    $120 per day for the first 15 days and then adjusted to $175 rate of pay retro on the 16th day for a substitute holding a valid Indiana Substitute Permit.

    POSITION OVERVIEW

    We are seeking an Extended Term Substitute to support our Science program for grades 6ï½12. This role does not involve direct classroom instruction; responsibilities include:

    • Leading live synchronous sessions
    • Providing tutoring and support to students
    • Grading assignments and assessments
    • Communicating regularly with students

    Preferred qualifications: experience with Apex grading and familiarity with online learning platforms.


    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provides classroom instruction to students as outlined in lesson plans.
    • Creates a classroom that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students.
    • Maintains a safe and orderly environment.
    • Maintains established routine of the school and classroom procedures in which assigned.
    • Maintains a professional appearance as an example to students.
    • Remains at school the entire school day unless otherwise instructed to leave by building principal.


    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
    Must have a minimum of 30 college credit hours.
