Legal & Compliance is a Copenhagenbased team consisting of a core group of inhouse legal professionals supplemented by specialized external partners. This blended setup ensures the right balance between business closeness and strategic decisionmaking driven by our internal team and access to deep subjectmatter expertise through selected outsourced specialists. The function is part of Nilfisks global Finance organization and supports the business globally.

As part of Nilfisks global Finance organization Legal & Compliance plays a strategic role in enabling sound business decisions and strengthening corporate governance.

The job

We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Corporate Counsel to support Nilfisk globally with primary responsibility for the Americas region and global product liability matters. Based in Copenhagen you will operate as a commercial generalist advising across sales supply chain operations and crossfunctional projects while also providing broader adhoc legal support across the organization as needed.

Your responsibility will include

• Draft review and negotiate commercial contracts.

• Lead global product liability matters.

• Support regional teams across Americas.

• Provide riskbased solutionoriented legal advice.

• Engage with external counsel as needed.

You will report to the General Counsel Head of Legal & Compliance and become part of Nilfisks Legal & Compliance team working closely with commercial operational and technical stakeholders globally.

The ideal candidate

Your educational background is a . or .(jur.) and you bring 3-5 years of experience from a law firm or an inhouse legal department in a larger organization. As our corporate language is English you have strong spoken and written English skills.

To succeed in the role you bring a commercially minded solutionfocused approach with the ability to make sound judgments and simplify complexity for stakeholders. You communicate clearly and confidently and are skilled at building strong relationships across regions and functions. You have a handson proactive mindset naturally take ownership and follow tasks through to completion. You thrive in balancing multiple matters with professionalism and consistently deliver highquality work. Most importantly you are a collaborative and open person who enjoys connecting with colleagues and contributing positively to the team.
