Job Summary
Urgent Care Veterinarian Ocoee FL
An urgent care veterinary clinic is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its collaborative medical team. This role focuses exclusively on urgent care cases for canine and feline patients providing treatment for non-life-threatening conditions that occur outside regular veterinary clinic hours.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate diagnose and treat urgent medical conditions in companion animals
Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans
Perform urgent medical procedures and minor surgical treatments
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding diagnosis and care recommendations
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient patient care
Qualifications
DVM or equivalent degree
Eligible for licensure in Florida
Experience in urgent or small-animal clinical practice preferred
Strong diagnostic clinical and communication skills
Commitment to high standards of patient care and professionalism
