We are seeking an Automation Engineer to help us further building the future of food. You will be based in Belgium and report to the Automation Manager.

In your role as Automation Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of automation standards play a part in projects and support the technical teams to keep the factories running.

What you will do

You will work together to design and implement technical projects as project manager project leader or as member of a project team
You are responsible for automation and electrical related works
Make sure that our factories are up to date from an automation and electrical perspective
Provide information to start/prepare business cases for projects
Initiate lead and participate in engineering projects to streamline production facilities as well as improving work environment and product quality

What we expect from you

You would be a great fit if your background and experience would look similar to this:

Bachelor or master of Science in Engineering or equivalent knowledge based on work experience. (Electromechanics Automation)
Analytical skills and mindset
To enjoy this role you need to be a team player with a positive and energetic can-do attitude capability for building partnerships and at the same time ability to work independently
This position suits someone who enjoys working in fast moving area and is able to handle new directions and working with several tasks simultaneously
Fluent in Dutch and English knowledge of French is a plus
Not afraid to travel to the different facilities
Be part of the on-call duty
Hands-on approach
