Job Description
As a Security Officer - Communications Center in Los Angeles CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location you will help coordinate security-related responses track activity and support on-site teams through clear radio and phone communication. You will help monitor assigned areas assist with routine patrol coverage document incidents and deliver customer-focused service to tenants and visitors. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants visitors and property management by following site-specific security-related procedures access control policies and service expectations at a commercial real estate location.
- Monitor alarm panels cameras and communication systems; receive calls for service and dispatch mobile and/or on-site personnel based on priority and established protocols.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating notifications to on-site personnel and emergency services when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate shift activity logs incident reports and dispatch records including documenting calls for service actions taken and follow-up items.
- Support regular and random patrol operations by coordinating patrol assignments tracking officer status and relaying updates about conditions around the buildings and perimeter.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security experience.
- Be able to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
- Have CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.
- Have a guard card and/or security license preferred.
- Have customer service experience preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
