Job Summary
Basic-Fit is growing rapidly and our Finance department is going through various exciting projects and changes;from process improvements to the integration of our latest acquisition Clever Fit.Werelooking for a senior financial professional to take ownership of our German-speaking markets and help scale our financial processes!

This Is What Your Role Looks Like
Youllbe part of our Financial Control team (18 FTE) a talented international group of quick-thinking financial professionals who generate high-quality reports while working closely with the business.
Following our acquisition of Clever Fit and our growing activities across Germany and Austriawerelooking for a Senior Financial Controller who takes ownership of the financial processing and reporting for our DACH entities. You work from our HQ in Hoofddorp and are the go-to person for everything finance-related in the German-speaking markets.
You focus on continuously improving the quality of monthly figurestakepart in international company-wide projects and proactivelydriveprocess improvements to make our financial operations more efficient effective and scalable.
YourResponsibilities
Take ownership of the financial processing and reporting for our DACH entities
Take part in company-wide projects and implement correct and efficient financial processes for innovations and new business models
Analyze business processes signal risks and implement process improvements
Proactively pursue business issues thatimpactthe general ledger and evaluate acceptable solutions
Ensure all business transactions are properly andtimelyrecorded across all relevant entities
Create and review reconciliations and lead schedules for balance sheet and P&L accounts
Prepare reporting to relevant authorities and support external audit requirements
Contribute to the further development of the Internal Control Framework
Who Are You
Yourea self-starter and problem solver;accurate proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced international environment. You take ownership andarentafraid to flag issues and drive change.
Additionallywerelooking for someone with:
A Bachelors orMasters degree in Finance
Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar complex high-volume IFRS accounting environment
Proventrack recordin process improvement
Fluent in German (required); strong English isa must Dutch or French is a plus
Ability to interact with all departments and levels across the organization
Proficiencyin MS Excel (advanced); SAP S4/HANA experience is preferred
