Job Summary
- Source and acquire quality pre-owned vehicles from auctions private sellers online marketplaces and dealership trade networks
- Evaluate and appraise vehicles accurately using market data and vehicle condition
- Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure competitive purchasing strategies
- Purchase vehicles that align with dealership inventory needs and profit targets
- Build relationships with wholesalers auctions and private sellers
- Work closely with sales and management teams to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Follow all dealership purchasing policies and procedures
- Maintain proper documentation for vehicle purchases
- Previous automotive experience preferred (sales appraisal wholesale or buying)
- Strong understanding of used vehicle values and market trends
- Ability to negotiate and close vehicle purchases effectively
- Familiarity with auction platforms and online vehicle marketplaces is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Valid drivers license with clean driving record
