As a Security Officer - Museum Patrol in Minneapolis MN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more. Join Allied Universal at a hotel and resort location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet guests and staff with professional customer service communicate clearly with teams and management and document observations and reports. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a hotel and/or resort location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of guest areas back-of-house spaces parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including disturbances medical calls alarms and/or guest concerns and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points check identification and/or credentials when assigned manage visitor directions and assist with crowd and/or event support while maintaining a professional presence.
• Complete routine documentation such as incident reports patrol logs and activity reports and communicate observations and follow-up needs to Allied Universal leadership and/or the client site team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
