Data Center Facility Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership: Lead daily data center maintenance and operations encompassing routine checks functional testing and proactive corrective actions.
• Emergency Response: Efficiently respond to alarms faults and emergency situations implementing timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Collaboration & Project Management: Collaborate closely with external contractors and various internal teams to facilitate successful project execution and maintenance events.
• Performance Assurance: Ensure all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are consistently met or exceeded.
• Client & Infrastructure Support: Provide direct support for customer requests installations and move-ins contributing to a superior client experience.
• Compliance & Standards: Actively contribute to critical accreditation certification and regulatory compliance initiatives upholding the highest industry standards.

Candidate Profile:

Requirements:

• Educational Background & Experience:
  • A Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline) combined with at least 2 years of proven experience in data center facilities management or a closely related field.
  • OR a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in data center facilities management or a related field (even without a degree).
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated strong technical and functional expertise in facilities management and complex operational environments.
• Availability: Ability and willingness to commit to a 24x7 rotating shift duty schedule.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities both written and verbal for effective internal and external interactions.
