Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week assignment at a Level II Trauma Center in Bradenton Florida. This position supports both acute care and inpatient rehabilitation patients within a large hospital system.

Position Overview

The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients recovering from orthopedic neurological and medical conditions. The PT will work closely with an interdisciplinary care team to help patients regain mobility strength and functional independence.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct physical therapy evaluations and develop treatment plans

  • Provide therapy interventions to improve mobility strength and function

  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed

  • Educate patients and families on rehabilitation and home exercise programs

  • Document patient care and treatment progress in the EMR system

  • Collaborate with physicians therapists and hospital staff to coordinate care

Requirements

  • Active Florida Physical Therapist License

  • BLS Certification

  • Experience in hospital inpatient rehab or acute care settings preferred

Assignment Details

  • 13-week travel contract

  • Day shift (8:00 AM 4:30 PM)

  • Weekend rotation required (approximately one weekend per month)

  • EMR: Meditech

  • Facility: 383-bed acute care hospital with a 28-bed inpatient rehab unit
