Job Summary

Database Administrator irvine ca

is responsible for managing all Microsoft SQL databases related architecture and supporting infrastructure. This includes monitoring tuning securing designing testing installing and optimizing both onpremise SQL Server environments and SQLasaService platforms such as AWS RDS and Azure SQL Database.

6 years handson experience implementing and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server clusters.

4 years implementing and supporting SQL Always On (2016/2019).

Experience with RedGate SQL Monitoring Ola Hallengren maintenance scripts and Brent Ozar SQL optimization tools.

Experience with Azure SQL Database administration.

Strong SQL query tuning performance optimization and database troubleshooting skills.

Working knowledge of ETL tools BI systems and data warehousing (Redshift preferred).

Ability to interpret and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Strong understanding of database security encryption access models and backup/recovery strategies.

Education & Certifications

Fouryear degree preferred or equivalent handson professional experience.
