The QA/QC personal shall be responsible for Adherence & improvement in quality management system to ensure that all project deliverables including engineering designs drawings meet or exceed industry standards/ internal set guidelines and client requirements.

The role is for focusing on both preventing quality issues during the design/Engineering process (QA) and inspecting final designs/deliverables for defects (QC).

Key responsibilities & Qualification

1. Quality assurance (process-focused)

• Support Project teams for Quality Plan Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and other quality procedures.
• Review and approve contractor and vendor quality plans method statements and technical submittals to ensure compliance for Major project Quality needs .
• Participate in any Critical project reviews (e.g. HazOp Risk Assessments) to ensure that quality and safety requirements are addressed from the earliest stages for Major Projects
• Conduct internal quality audits in Ongoing Projects (engineering and design processes) to monitor compliance and identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Prepare QA/QC training materials. Provide guidance to new members/Engineers on quality standards and procedures.
• Monitoring (on Regular basis) of Projects at various phases for adherence to Internal QA/QC process & reporting /escalation. Should also be responsible & provide clearances for moving to the next phase.

2. Quality control

• Perform detailed independent spot / sample reviews of engineering documents / Deliverables (from projects).
• Oversee adherence to document control system ensuring that design documents are accurately tracked and revision control management in place.
• Manage the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process for design errors including root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions.
• Verify that design documents are complete and signed off before being issued for procurement / customer review.
• Review & control quality documentation dossiers at the final project handover stage.
