Job Description
As a Security Officer - Dispatch Center in Aurora IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a busy retail and mall location you will coordinate security-related response by monitoring alarms and cameras managing radios and phones and guiding officers to priorities that help to reduce incidents. You will document activity support customer service needs and communicate clearly with onsite teams and partners. At Allied Universal you will work with an agile reliable and innovative team that puts people first and leads with integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients tenants and guests by carrying out site-specific policies access control procedures and when appropriate emergency response activities at a retail and/or mall location.
- Monitor alarms cameras and radio traffic; receive calls for service and dispatch officers to incidents service requests and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner.
- Maintain accurate dispatch and incident records using required logs and reporting systems including documenting times locations actions taken and notifications made.
- Coordinate communications with on-site management and local responders as directed relaying clear updates and instructions to support security-related operations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas service corridors exterior perimeters and parking areas as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
