Duration: 14 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift 3 12-hour shifts per week
Shift Time: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
Hours: 36 hours per week
Compensation Package
Gross Weekly Pay: $2350
W2 Rate: $26/hour
Weekly Stipend: $1414
Position Overview
A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality respiratory care services in an acute care environment. This role involves delivering patient-centered respiratory therapy services for adult and pediatric populations while collaborating closely with physicians nurses and multidisciplinary care teams.
Responsibilities
Perform respiratory assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Administer oxygen therapy aerosolized medications and other respiratory treatments.
Monitor patient response to therapy and adjust treatments as clinically indicated.
Provide respiratory care to pediatric and adult patients.
Operate and maintain respiratory equipment according to safety standards.
Assist with airway management and emergency respiratory interventions.
Accurately document treatments patient responses and clinical observations.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain compliance with infection control safety and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
Active New York State Respiratory Therapist License
Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Respiratory Therapy
Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
Pediatric respiratory care experience required
Candidates must reside 100 miles from the assignment location
