Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician including low voltage experience to support the maintenance installation and troubleshooting of electrical systems at an onsite government installation in San Antonio Texas. This role helps ensure the safe and reliable operation of facility electrical infrastructure including both standard and low voltage systems in compliance with applicable codes safety standards and site requirements.

Responsibilities

Installmaintain troubleshoot and repair electrical systems equipment and low voltage controls throughout the site.

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipmentoperatessafely and efficiently.

Test and calibrate electrical instruments and low voltage systemsin accordance withapplicable safety regulations.

Respond promptly to electrical system failures or malfunctions and performtimelyrepairs to minimize downtime.

Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to support site operations and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Maintainaccuraterecords of work performed equipment serviced and safety inspections.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical systems including low voltage installations and maintenance.

Applicable certifications or licenses in the respective field such aselectricianslicense low voltage certification or NFPA/OSHA certifications.

Strong knowledge of electrical codes schematics and safety procedures.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-safety industrial or secure environment.

Ability to obtain andmaintainrequired installation/base access.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting government defense industrial manufacturing or other secure facilities.

Familiarity with PLCs motors and industrial control systems.

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Secret clearance or prior eligibility for military installation access preferred.
