Urgent Care Veterinarian Newtown PA
An urgent care veterinary clinic is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its collaborative medical team. This role focuses exclusively on urgent care cases providing treatment for non-life-threatening conditions that occur after regular veterinary clinic hours. The practice offers modern facilities advanced diagnostic equipment and a strong technical support team to help veterinarians deliver efficient high-quality care.
Responsibilities
Evaluate diagnose and treat urgent medical conditions in canine and feline patients
Provide treatment for common urgent cases such as wound management ear infections vomiting diarrhea and minor injuries
Perform necessary procedures and provide stabilization when appropriate
Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses treatment plans and follow-up care
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient patient care
Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation
Qualifications
DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited institution (or equivalent program completion)
Eligible for or currently holding an active veterinary license in the applicable state
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
